Detailed DescriptionRecorded under the supervision of Rosemary Butcher, this 75-minute video was filmed in performance in Guildford Cathedral in 1995. Each of the four dances is choreographed within, and defined by, the boundaries of an environment created by a visual artist. Both dance and environment become an installation, offering a challenge to perceptions of conventional theatrical acts. The dancers are Gill Clarke, Dennis Greenwood, Deborah Jones, Michael Popper, and Fin Walker. |
