The Department of Mathematics is home to over 25 academics and postdoctoral researchers as well as 20 postgraduate students. Our research groups in nonlinear mathematics and statistics are widely recognised and we run a lively PhD programme. We offer a range of undergraduate BSc and MMath courses in Mathematics in an environment where teaching and research are well integrated.
