The conference will be exploring the potential of the Pedagogic Frailty model as a tool to support reflective practice among university teaching staff. This builds on a number of pilot studies that have been undertaken at Surrey University and the University of São Paulo. Presentations will draw on chapters from a new international book (Pedagogic Frailty and Resilience in the University) with links made to others areas of research in Higher Education that consider professional identities and values, pedagogy, research-teaching links, leadership and regulation of university teaching. For staff at Surrey, these materials may be linked directly with engagement in the University’s SET Framework.

Free parking and lunch is included. Tea/Coffee/Biscuits will be provided throughout the day.
