Morning session: Introduction to implementation science:
Definitions and scope of the field
Relationship between implementation science and other types of health research, including clinical efficacy and effectiveness research, health services research, health behaviour/health promotion research
Afternoon session: Pre Implementation planning:
Planning framework, including process mapping, stakeholder engagement, organisational considerations, evaluation
Practice example: pre-implementation project
Evening: Drinks reception and Implementation networking event
Morning session: Implementation of your project:
Tools for diagnosing quality and implementation gaps and identifying barriers and facilitators to improvement, including intervention mapping, project evaluation.
Selection of frameworks for designing effective multi-level, multi-component practice change programs or campaigns
Practice example: implementation project
Afternoon session: Post-implementation:
Adoption, spread and sustainability
Practice example: post implementation project that has been scaled up
This event will take place in room 02 EFH01, Engineering for Health Building, University of Surrey, Stag Hill Campus
