Description

A national event bringing together educators, researchers and practitioners to explore how a Safe Uncertainty approach can support thoughtful, inclusive and responsive relationships and sex education.

Grounded in our Safe Uncertainty approach, the day will bring together educators, researchers and practitioners to explore what it means to teach young people how to think, rather than what to think, about relationships, sex and their social and digital worlds.

This won't be a day of simply sitting and listening. Through keynotes, interactive workshops, panels and collaborative sessions, we'll explore how we can create space for curiosity, dialogue and critical thinking around some of the issues that can feel most difficult to navigate in RSE.

We've developed a programme bringing together contributors from Split Banana, Waythrough, Talk Consent, Parent Zone, Sexplain, Ormiston Academies, The Big Think, the Institute for Addressing Strangulation, the University of Portsmouth, Keele University and the University of Surrey, among others.

Together, we'll be exploring some of the issues that can feel most challenging in RSE, including gender and sexual violence, consent, young people's digital lives and social media, media literacy, faith and relationships education.
