Cancellations must be notified in writing ten working days before the event. A cancellation fee of 50% is charged for cancellations received within 10 working days before the training; Beyond this date, we charge full rate and do not give refunds. If no written notice of cancellation is received, no refund can be made. The University of Surrey reserves the right to cancel any event. In this case, the full fee will be refunded unless a mutually convenient transfer can be arranged.

This engaging half-day online course introduces participants to the science and innovation behind aeroponic cultivation — one of the most efficient and forward-thinking farming technologies available today.

Participants will explore the fundamental principles that underpin aeroponic systems.

This introductory course is designed to build confidence and foundational understanding for:

·         Hobby growers interested in modern systems

·         Industry professionals seeking innovation insight

·         Students and technicians exploring controlled environment agriculture

·         Horticultural educators and training providers

By the end of this half-day online course, participants will be able to:

-          Explain the role of soilless cultivation in future food systems

-          Identify and describe the main components of an aeroponic system

-          Summarise key design and management considerations such as plant support, root-zone environment, water and nutrient management, and system monitoring for reliable operation.

-          Discuss the benefits, limitations and appropriate applications of aeroponics
