The Discipline of Surrey Hospitality and Tourism Management in Surrey Business School is delighted to be hosting CHME 2026, which will take place at the University of Surrey on 9 -12 June 2026.

The Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME) is an influential organisation which lobbies government bodies and external organisations to strengthen and develop hospitality management education.

CHME’s stated purpose is to contribute to the professional development and status of the UK and International Hospitality Management education, through the sharing of best practices in scholarship and pedagogy.

The Discipline of Surrey Hospitality and Tourism Management in Surrey Business School is delighted to be hosting the 58th UTSG Conference 2026, which will take place at the University of Surrey on 13 -15 July 2026.

The Universities’ Transport Study Group (UTSG), initiated by the late Professor R.J. Smeed of University College London in 1967, aims to promote transport teaching and research and to act as a focus for those involved in these activities in universities and institutions of higher education in the UK and Ireland. UTSG has over 50 University members, with over 100 Departments contributing to its activities. UTSG membership is free for institutions which meet its requirements and all positions on its elected Executive Committee are honorary. In addition to the membership from the UK and Ireland, over 70 academic institutions are represented on its list of overseas correspondents.
