Join your fellow exchange students, trainees and buddies for a friendly game of ten-pin bowling at the Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex.
Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex, Parkway, Guildford GU1 1UP
Bowling cost: £5.50 per person for one game.
Further games can be purchased in advance or on the night subject to lane availability.
Last booking date for this event: end of Sunday 7th September 2025.
This is a popular evening and we can’t guarantee lane availability after this date.
Ice-skating: If you’d like to go ice-skating instead or as well as bowling, there is a public ‘Ice Xtreme Disco’ session from 8.30-10pm. Tickets can be purchased online in advance (£14.18 including skate hire) or at the Spectrum front desk on the night.
Travel to Spectrum: Share an Uber or take a bus with other exchange students from the Friary Bus Station to Ennismore Avenue/ Elgin Gardens next to Stoke Park and walk to the Spectrum leisure complex (depending on times, check Google Maps).
Refunds will be given for cancellations made by midnight on Sunday 6 September 2025. After this, we will put you in touch with any student who belatedly expresses an interest in coming bowling so they can take your place and refund you direct before the event.
First, please inform your bank that you will be going overseas so they can expect a foreign payment, but if you continue to have trouble paying then contact ieo.incoming@surrey.ac.uk.
